[/tab][tab]I use an eclectic approach based on the following models: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Treatment, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, experiential techniques (including art and play therapy techniques), Strength Based Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. Depending on your individual needs, I will use different methods of therapy.[/tab][tab]My career in the mental health field began over 14 years ago. I have experience providing individual and family therapy and group therapy in a variety of settings. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in psychiatric hospitals, group homes and emergency shelter settings, a child advocacy center, as well as, providing outpatient therapy and intensive-in home services for children, adolescents and their families. Areas of experience include working with children and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, self-harm/SI, ADHD, adoption, anger management, social skills, behavioral problems, grief/loss and trauma/abuse. I also incorporate family therapy to assist families working through conflict, divorce, and provide support with implementing positive parenting skills.[/tab][tab]
